STATEMENT OF FAITH

We believe that all the words of the Scriptures, both Old and New Testament, are the inspired Word of God, without error in the original writings, the complete revelation of His will for the salvation of men, and the Divine and final authority for all Christian faith and life.

We believe in one God, sovereign Creator of all things, infinitely perfect and eternally existing in three persons, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

We believe that Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man, having been conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary, lived a sinless life.  He died on the cross as a sacrifice for our sins according to the Scriptures. Furthermore, He arose bodily from the dead and ascended into heaven, where at the right hand of the Majesty on High, He now is our High Priest and Advocate.

We believe that the ministry of the Holy Spirit is to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ, and during this age to convict men, regenerate the sinner, and indwell, guide, instruct and empower the believer for godly living and service.

We believe that all people are, by nature, separated from God and responsible for their own sin, but that salvation, redemption, and forgiveness are freely offered to all by the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. When a person repents of sin and accepts Jesus Christ as personal Savior and Lord, trusting Him to save, that person is immediately born again and sealed by the Holy Spirit, all his/her sins are forgiven, and that person becomes a child of God, destined to spend eternity with the Lord.

We believe that the true Church is composed of all and only such persons who through saving faith in Jesus Christ have been regenerated by the Holy Spirit and are united together in the body of Christ of which He is Head.

We believe that Jesus Christ is the Lord and Head of the Church.

We believe in the personal and bodily return of our Lord Jesus Christ and that this “Blessed Hope” has a vital bearing on the personal life and service of the believer.
