Urban Christian Academy is a Bridgeport, Chicago ministry to students and their families. We get to serve God, by being the hands and feet of Jesus. We love being able to encourage students to continue learning even though our city, nation, and world is in crisis.

During “normal” times, UCA offers after-school tutoring in a holistic, safe, positive, spiritual environment for children in grades Kindergarten through High School.  When COVID-19 hit Chicago, we could no longer meet in person and switched to helping our students navigate online learning through ZOOM. We offered this for free from March-June, 2020. In September of 2020, Chicago Public Schools changed their educational plan from hybrid to being fully online, so UCA responded by opening a “Safe Learning Center” in addition to doing our after-school program. Now that students are back to in person learning our after-school program is limited to how many student we can accommodate while maintaining social distancing. We need your help to expand.
