Our summer program provides an environment for rising K-Grade 8 students which strengthens core academic skills, teaches students to become active learners, and promotes positive social skill development.

MARVELous Foundations
Reading Theme: Marvel-ous Stories Science Theme: Marvel at Your Brain (3 weeks)
Writing: Marvel Researchers Social Studies Theme: Marvel at U.S. History (3 weeks)
1st - 6th Grades
Class sizes are small and taught by qualified teachers. Our instructional focus is on strengthening core reading, writing, and math skills. Reading instruction includes informational non-fiction text in the areas of science and history or social studies to increase students’ knowledge in these areas. In addition, students will have opportunities for enrichment such as foreign language, art, and music. Students will also enjoy regular physical activity and several fun excursions throughout the program.
Kindergarten
The transition to kindergarten can be a big step for any child. Our summer kindergarten program is designed to help prepare children for the academic and social activities that will be expected of them in kindergarten.

Selected half-day classes offered in Reading Comprehension, Writing, Fine Arts and Humanities such as Mandarin, Spanish, Art and Music.
Note: UCA reserves the right to cancel a class if enrollment is low. Fees will be refunded.
Flexible Scheduling
Our flexible schedule allows families to mix and match to fit their summer plans. You can select all 7 weeks or mix and match the weeks above.
Classes held from 9:00am to 3:00pm. Lunch is included. Before and after school care is also available for a modest additional fee. And we offer scheduling flexibility to accommodate the needs of families during the summer months.
